    Privacy Policy

    When you sign up to our services, such as our website forums, mobile applications, regular newsletters, enter competitions, buy a magazine, buy event tickets, order products or take up a reader offer, we may ask for personal information about you, and hold this information to enable us to contact you.

    The personal information we hold could include your name, e-mail address, postal address, telephone or mobile number, date of birth and any specific requests, events, titles etc that you may have purchased or enquired about. Different services may ask for different types of information.

    We do not store credit card details.

    We will not share any of your personal details with any 3rd party companies for marketing purposes without collecting your explicit consent. However, on occasion with relation to subscription updates and renewals, we do use a company called PNL to assist our team with the renewals process.

    The legal basis for processing your data is ‘legitimate interest’. Kelsey benefit from subscriptions, advertising, events tickets and sales of products and would like you to order again.

    Free Gifts with Subscription

    Free gifts (where applicable) will be sent separately from the magazine. Please allow 28 days for delivery. Free gifts are always sent to the person paying for the subscription. All free gifts are subject to stock availability. If stock runs out, we reserve the right to offer an alternative.

    Free gifts are only available on subscriptions delivered within the UK and gifts will not be sent to donors, i.e. if the person paying for the subscription is not the intended recipient, that live overseas.

    Free gifts that are offered with subscriptions are sent to the payee on good faith that the initial term of the subscription is paid in full. If for whatever reason payment is not received by Kelsey Publishing, the payee must return any gifts, at their own cost, that may have been previously despatched.

    Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

    Subscriptions with a free gift are non-refundable with the first term. Other subscriptions, unless otherwise stated on the offer page, can be cancelled at any time during the first 6 months of the first term and a refund for un-mailed issues will be made to the payer. Please note we send our mailing data securely to our printers in advance of the retail on-sale date and therefore we can only refund issues where data has not already been processed. Generally this is 10 days prior to the retail on-sale date.

    At Kelsey Publishing we want to provide you with the best possible customer service. We hope you are delighted with your mail order items. However: If your mail order item is faulty, damaged or misdescribed, return it to us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (including delivery charges). If you change your mind:

    • Return your mail order item and write to us at subs@kelsey.co.uk within 7 working days of delivery to cancel your order, and your consumer rights entitle you to a full refund (including delivery charges);
    • Return your mail order item within 30 days of delivery, and provided it's in an unused and saleable condition, we will refund the cost of the item, but not the delivery charges. However certain items are excluded, please see the list below.

    Returns and Refunds Procedure

    • a. Certain items are excluded from refunds or exchanges unless they are faulty. We cannot accept order cancellations or offer a refund or exchange on:
      • Personalised products
      • Unsealed CDs, DVDs, tapes or other recording media, software or video.
    • b. For all other items, please return stating clearly the reason along with a copy of the original despatch note
    • c. It's important that your returns are in the best possible condition, so please ensure you wrap the item you're returning securely.
    • d. You must obtain a proof of delivery receipt from the Post Office Counter. This is your proof of return and must be provided if the item you are returning fails to arrive with us.
    • e. Please allow 14 working days for the goods to be returned and for us to process your return.
    • f. The product must be received by our Returns Department within 30 days of receipt of delivery.
    • g. If the item is faulty, misdescribed or delivered in error, you will be fully refunded, including all postage costs.
    • h. No claims can be processed unless these conditions are strictly adhered to.

    All returns should be sent to: Kelsey Publishing Limited, Returns Department, Cudham Tithe Barn, Berry's Hill, Cudham, Kent, TN16 3AG, England. This Kelsey Publishing refund policy is separate and additional to your right to cancel under the Distance Selling Regulations. It does not affect your legal rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods. Contact your local Consumer Rights organisation (such as the Citizens Advice Bureau) if you would like more information on your legal rights.

    Age Restrictions

    • Mail order goods and free subscription gifts that are restricted for sale based on age restrictions, can only be purchased by customers within the defined legal age.

    Complaints Procedure

    Your views are important to us. If for any reason we do not deliver the standard of service you expect, or if we make a mistake, please tell us. We will investigate the situation and set about putting it right as quickly as possible, and where appropriate, we will take steps to avoid making similar mistakes in the future.

    If you wish to make a complaint about the service we have delivered, our complaints procedure is detailed below:

In all cases we will seek to find a resolution within a maximum of 5 working days.

  • Write to us at the below address where upon receipt if your complaint requires a response; it will be actioned within 48 hours**.

    The Head of Customer Experience will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working Days and a senior member of staff will investigate the complaint and contact you within a maximum of 10 working days with a response and any proposed course of action. This is the final step in the complaints process and there is no further appeal against the company's response after reaching this stage.
